Before you get the construction started, you are going to need to check with the local planning department too. The local authorities can give you a rundown of the things that you will be expected to comply with when constructing the fixture the authorities can give you a list of what you need to do to get this done.

Talk to your insurance provider too. You need to know if the fixture is going to be covered by the insurance policy which you have signed up for. If it is not, then just know that possible damages that may be caused by the fixture is not going to be covered by the homeowner's policy that you have signed up for.

Decide on the access method that you would prefer too. You are advised to consider the different ways in which you will allow access up and down the fixture. If you are installing a ladder, make sure that it is going to be secure. It has to be safe too, to avoid unwanted injuries and accidents.

Make sure to call the contractors too. You need to find the right people that can assist you. Though some people would not mind doing the project on their own, if you think you cannot pull this off yourself, better call the professionals in.
