Christina Kelly & Possible Places Of Employment For PR Majors

By Rebecca Mills

Public relations is composed of many different jobs, and to say that they vary in certain ways would be an understatement. Christina Kelly, along with other PR specialists, can tell you that each one has its own set of rewards for long-term efforts. Which locations are the most promising, you may wonder? If you'd like to know as much as possible, when it comes to the working world, here are a few places that work can be found in.

Marketing Companies - When it comes to the places of work that PR majors might get involved in, few seem to be as common as marketing companies. After all, there's a certain connection to be had between advertising and public relations, which is something that you'd be wise to consider as well. As stated earlier, this is a common place of work for the aforementioned majors. As names such as Christina DiMauro Kelly can tell you, though, it's among the most rewarding.

Hospices - Hospices, hospitals, and other related areas will require public relations work as well. After all, it's not uncommon for them to hold events, meaning that a number of facets will have to be covered. This is one of the many reasons why such locations hire individuals with PR backgrounds, since they know how to go about planning well. This is just one of the many responsibilities that said individuals will cover in this place of work.

Colleges - As you develop more of a mind for public relations, your knowledge can then be passed down to others. There are many colleges that offer PR focuses, which means that they could be great locations for you to find work in. The opportunities you can seize will be nothing short of striking, especially when you substitute for a while before landing a full-time position. Depending on what you prefer, from a work standpoint, colleges can be ideal, as Christina Kelly will probably agree.

There's no denying the fact that there are different places for public relations majors to work, regardless of how surprising they might be to the average person. Maybe you didn't think that your work could have a marketing focus, or even that it could be used to help hospitals and clinics. As you can see, though, a number of possibilities exist. Consider what you're looking for, in the professional sense, before taking the steps needed to accomplish your goals.
