Place few crystals in the water and make sure they do not bang together. Use your hands to rub off the dust or dirt and rinse them using the warm water.

Take a picture of the crystal alignment prior to taking them down. After you have dried the crystals using a soft cloth, you should place them inside the dishwasher. Use the picture to place back the crystals into their original position.
