It is a painting process that needs electrical energy to deliver paint to a specified item. Electrocoating actually allows the production of some high quality products by manufacturers. The process is quite advantageous as it enhances the ability of a product to withstand corrosion for an extended period of time. The use of electricity to paint works due to the principle of opposites attracting each other. The process can be achieved by releasing a dc charge directly to a part that is metallic. The metallic part is then immersed into paint granules baths that are oppositely charged. As a result, the paint granules will shift towards the metal and attach themselves to it.

The amount of time to be spent on the process of painting varies accordingly, although there are several that can be mentioned. The rate and intensity of power supply that is released will determine how fast the process will take. In addition to this, the supply of power will in the long run affect the rate at which the paint will be delivered. Also, the machine model that you are using is able to determine the speed of paint. The paint's viscosity can also be a contributory factor as far as the whole process durability is concerned.

Anodic and cathodic painting can be a success although it will highly depend on the type of charge that is going to be released and applied on the metal. The introduction of voltage to a positive element is referred to an anodic process. Here, however, the paint needs to be negatively charged to achieve the best outcome.

There are four major steps that are involved in the process of electrocoat. Pretreatment stage is the first stage as described by manufacturers. This is normally done to cleanse the metallic surface as well as phosphate it. One of the major requirements of the end product is a high performance ability, which makes this step a very vital one.

The metal is then dipped into a standard bath that contains particles and ionized water which acts as a medium for the reaction. Once inside the water, the granules are allowed to move freely within the water. The main composition of the medium is resin and pigments. While the pigments help in achieving the desired hue, resins are used as a component that enhances the durability of a product, making it have the ability to last longer.

Post rinsing is then done after the element has been painted. The process involves rinsing out of the paint that got attached to the component. The paint is directed back to the tank. The items appearance will now appear stunning as the process is considered a success.

After going through rinsing, they are taken into a bake oven. The temperature within the bake oven is quite high, which enables the layer of paint to dry up well. When the whole process is complete, the client is able to receive their goods in a carefully packaged delivery.
