By Donna Cox

When it comes to researching a cure related to a disease or illness, it is often a long process. Nothing could be more true than when locating therapies and treatments which provide improvements in autoimmune disease and nervous conditions. For, there are now researchers which have obtained information related to long-term antibiotic therapy providing elimination of a number of autoimmune diseases.

Information has been obtained from individuals suffering from the conditions whom have seen results, physicians and medical students. While in most cases the antibiotic therapy provided positive results, there were also individuals whom did not respond in such a favorable manner. As such, it is important that individuals desiring to try this form of treatment do so with the help of a medical professional or specialist.

Depending on the autoimmune disease being treated, individuals respond differently to different types of treatment. As a result, medical schools, students and researchers are now looking at this information to determine if there can be an all encompassing treatment plan for various ailments. While this is the case, individuals need be cautious before concluding that the disease has been cured, especially if receiving disability income or pension in associated with the conditions.

Chronic illnesses such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Lupus and other autoimmune and degenerative diseases are often the most difficult to treat. In most cases, this is because the disease has effected multiple organs and body tissue over the course of the illness. As a result, the medical field, researchers and those suffering from these conditions remain hopeful for a cure and that prevention will eventually become a reality in the future.

For, researchers have obtained information which hosts substantial proof that a number of untreated bacterial and viral infections have been the root cause of many autoimmune diseases. In most cases, the proof is related to individuals whom have been treated with long-term antibiotic therapies. While this is the case, it is important that those suffering from these ailments go through proper channels before self-treating with antibiotics.

For, while the treatment may work for some, this is not the case for everyone. As such, there can often be a need to try a number of different types of antibiotics before an individual could see a positive reaction and recovery. In addition, as it is a slow process which can take up to, or over a year to know whether or not an individual can recover from one of these illnesses, it is important to maintain ongoing health reviews and visits.

While the discovery of antibiotic therapy has been impressive, individuals still need to maintain an ongoing relationship with a medical care provider after treatment. For, chronic issues can tear down bodily tissue resulting in a vulnerable state. As such, to assure that no other diseases invades the body and to prevent a relapse of a prior condition or conditions, it is essential that individuals do so.

It has also been discovered that viral and bacterial infections have the potential to kill nerves. As this is the case, there is now research underway to determine whether or not these infections could be the root cause of Parkinson's and other nervous conditions. If this proves to be the case, information obtained could be beneficial in preventing a number of nerve related conditions in the future.
